Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actor and singer from the United States. Most famously, she is known for her portrayal of Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama as well as Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). She was the lead character Jerrica Jem benton in the 2015 film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. Her younger sister is of Ally. When she was growing up, Aubrey was a part of her school's Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Her speech was the valedictory of her school in Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University had accepted her. However, they agreed to her admission two times in order for her to take on the role of Nashville. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). The actress appeared on TV in Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 and The Good Mother. In season two, she was cast as Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples talked about her bipolar condition in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire placed Peeples at the top of its list of top actors under the age of twenty-one in September of 2014.
